470 prisoners of conscience in Iran

'Reporters and Human Rights Activists in Iran' (RAHANA) have published a report stating that there are 470 prisoners of conscience in prison in Iran - 28 of them have been sentenced to death. They are held in 25 prisons across Iran and Evin prison in Tehran holds the highest number of political prisoners. 268 have been convicted and the rest are being held in prison without any charges.
