Stop stoning of Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani

Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani – a mother of two children - is to be stoned to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran. She has already been convicted of having an ‘illicit relationship’ and been sentenced to 99 lashes. In another trial, she was sentenced to death by stoning.

Iran Solidarity and the International Committee against Stoning are outraged at her sentence and demand her immediate release. We also call on all groups and individuals to send letters of protest demanding her release and an end to the brutal practice of stoning and the death penalty.

  3. brutal unjut practice. What century are these stoners and judicial system living in? The very ones that flogged her and imposed this stoning sentence should be stoned and flogged themselves. Better yet, burned at the stake afterward. Let the world send a message; cruel and unusal punshiment,WITHOUTEVIDENCE- is completely unacceptable to the international community. For all those oppressed in Iran, let's make a worldwide commitment to cut off any and all trading as well as shun the hierachy as a whole. Unbelievable those rich bastards in power have their way, while these "government" (what a joke !) sadists do as they please. BOYCOTT AND ISOLATE IRAN! SAVE THIS WOMAN! From this day forward I will not purchase a thing made there, and will encourage all I know to condemn this reigiem.

  4. Personal relationships (if they do not harm anyone) are PERSONAL...and no religion (far less islamic sharia) should be able to JUDGE and CONDEMN !!!! This is worse than in a despotic regime....
