Solidarity act for Sakineh and against Stoning. We will be holding up a banner for about 15 minutes. The exact location sadly cannot be made public untill afterwards.
On such short notice, sadly we are not allowed to protest for a long time, inside the city centre or with a lot of people (and some other things I'm leaving out for now), so this is a big spoiler. If you'd like to hold another protest in town, contact ROEZ f...or info about licences, locations where protesting without a license is allowed and do let your local police station know!
Of course the other ways to contribute are also good options for those who can't or won't protest. For example, you can send protest letters to the Iranian government, or send a postcard to Sakineh. And please DO sign the petition!

Solidariteits actie voor Sakineh en tegen Steniging. We zullen ongeveer 15 minuten lang een spandoek omhoog houden. De precieze locatie kan helaas niet vooraf openbaar worden gemaakt.
Helaas is het niet toegestaan om langere tijd, binnen het stadscentrum of met veel mensen te protesteren (en nog wat andere opties die ik verder nu niet toelicht) dus vandaar dat er gekozen is voor deze actie. Het is de enige mogelijkheid helaas op zo'n korte termijn. Uiteraard is dat een behoorlijke domper. Wanneer je ook een actie wilt houden in Groningen, neem dan contact op met ROEZ voor informatie over vergunningen, of locaties waarbij protesteren zonder een vergunning is toegestaan en breng ook de wijkpolitie op de hoogte!
Uiteraard zijn voor wie niet kan/wil de andere manieren om wat bij te dragen ook nog altijd een optie. Stuur bijvoorbeeld een protestbrief naar de Iraanse regering, of een kaartje naar Sakineh. En teken de petitie alsjeblieft!
Met vragen mag je me uiteraard lastig vallen.
